About the Role:
Your role will involve managing everything related to our growing European market. This involves three main buckets of responsibility:
1) Acquiring and developing relationships with European talent, managers, agents, and other stakeholders relevant to Cameo
2) Spearheading all market growth in Europe; this includes marketing, communications, product localization, analytics/insight generation with the central US team, etc.
3) Hiring and managing our growing team of Talent Acquisition Specialists to prioritize opportunities, manage the unique Cameo sales process, and hit ambitious targets

If you’re someone who is a self-starter with 5-8+ years of experience as a strong operator, and are looking for the next big challenge, this is the perfect opportunity for you. The ideal candidate should be based out of London, UK; but we are open to remote candidates based in Europe.

How You’ll Crush It:

  • Become the go-to person for the European market both for internal Cameo teams, and external facing parties (Talent, managers, agents, local PR, etc)
  • Be a “self starter”; you don’t wait on directions or strategic vision from others, you are always pushing for progress and want Cameo to win the massive European market
  • Recruit and manage direct reports to hit sales targets and provide strategic support where needed; our European team is rapidly growing at Cameo
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills; this role involves constant client communication, where you’ll constantly be engaging with celebrities and relevant stakeholders
  • Be focused at work and able to navigate unique time zones with our distributed international team (UK, Australia, US, and more); constant communication with the US team will be crucial
  • Ideally have experience with CRMs (Base, Salesforce, etc), it’s imperative for us to track all activity and outreach
  • Act as a liaison between the Cameo Europe team and the central US team (Chicago, LA)

What we hope you'll bring to the table:

  • 5-8+ years of proven experience as a business operator with P&L responsibility; ideally in a client-facing environment interfacing with talent, agents, managers, etc.
  • Minimum 4 years of management experience with multiple direct reports
  • Demonstrated success in a high visibility role directing the growth of a business; preferably with a consumer tech and/or marketplace business
  • Be known as a strong cross-functional partner in your current role; experience working with marketing, product, and engineering teams are a plus
  • Have knowledge and experience of European celebrity and pop culture
  • At minimum, a university degree in a relevant field, Masters (i.e., MBA) is preferred
  • Most importantly, you’re someone that sees the glass half full and is excited to take on new challenges, initiatives, and projects!
